Mom with her wary eye

The pink "eye spots" above the real eye slits trick predators into thinking they are being watched!

Mr Green -- the smallest -- trying to bulk up!

Pictures from Week 1

1 week old and growing.  We're eating well, have almost doubled our birth weight and getting more active.  Skin pigment is less pink -- noses and pads turning black.  A week from now we will be peeking at our world, and beginning to hear sounds.

The whole crew at 1 week

Oreo -- puppy version

The large and the small of it

Mr White resting

A foot long? NAH!

There's those eye spots again!

More Pictures will be added as the puppies grow.

Pictures from Week 2

A lot can happen in a week.  Look how much they have grown.  Body tone is getting stronger.  No more limp-as-a-dishrag. And we're starting to walk.  MOST of the eyes are open.  Right now they can distinguish light, but that will develop quickly.  And they're getting vocal too.  Ears opening any day.

WOW -- Look how much they have GROWN

Peek-a-Boo! I see that eye coming through!

Double-decker Oreo

ook who's walking!

Lookit those peepers!

One's open, the other one probably tomorrow.

Sober as a judge!

Pictures from Week 3

What a difference a week makes!  All of our eyes and ears are open.  We're up and walking about.  We hold regular "choir practice", especially when we feel mealtime is not convenient.  And we're beginning to eat while being fed by a human -- either from a bottle or from some interesting "stuff" comprised of formula and pureed puppy food.  YUMMY!

This is pretty interesting stuff!

It's almost as much fun if you WEAR it!

I think I can ... I think I can ... I think I can ...

If we just try to look innocent, maybe they won't suspect ...

Up on all fours.

Who could say no to a face like this?

Pictures from Week 4

Growing ... growing ... growing!  And weaned from mom.  Eating some pureed puppy food with yogurt.      Yum ... but sometimes they would rather WEAR it!

We like to crawl through pipes, early Agility training ...

... but we need a pipe stretcher!

Hmmm ... what IS this glop?

Tastes yummy -- lemme at it!

Wonder if I can blow bubbles in this stuff?

Pictures from Week 5

Ok, now we are seriously up and at it!  Scooting all over the whelping box.  Trying to climb out.  Needed to take the mini-crate out because the enterprising little guys were trying to get on top of it so they could stage a mass breakout!  This is the REALLY cute stage.  Visited Doggy Day Camp this week and got LOTS of exercise and attention.

We really do like sleeping in a lump!

Observing the humans

Yeah, we're cute .. and we KNOW it!

We've taught ourselves to use the shredded paper area

I'm ready for my close-up, Mr DeMille!

Ms White

Life is good.

Three different poses

Mr Blue

When the humans come, we come a-runnin!
